Tulsa Police: 1 person shot following altercation near hotel

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police said one person was shot multiple times after an altercation outside of a north Tulsa hotel.

According to TPD, officers responded to a shooting near Admiral and Sheridan around 6 p.m. Thursday. Police said two men were in a verbal argument that led to a shootout.

One man was shot multiple times and taken to the hospital. He’s expected to be okay.

North 67th East Avenue was closed while police worked the scene. The road is back open and the investigation is ongoing.

TPD said all people involved are accounted for and there’s no further threat to the public.
