TULSA, Okla. — A popular Tulsa restaurant is closing, two months after the owner was severely beaten in the parking lot.

In a Facebook post, the family behind Miami Nights announced the decision, saying it has been impossible to fill Frank Valdes’ shoes since his death. Police say Valdes entered cardiac arrest and died following the assault.

The restaurant will close by the end of this week.

Two men were arrested in connection to Valdes’ death. Police continue to search for a third suspect.
