Two residents escape mobile home fire in Claremore

Claremore, Okla. — An unattended cigarette is blamed for starting a mobile home fire in Claremore near Highway 20 and Dorothy Avenue.

Two residents were able to escape after a fire started in the living room and kitchen area around 1 a.m. Monday.

We're told one person was treated for minor burns.

The fire caused extensive smoke damage to the home.

One dog also died in the fire.
