Neighbors living near 131st and Olive in Broken Arrow are on edge with a burglar still on the loose.
On Wednesday, a homeowner fired a shot at a female burglar after catching her breaking into her home. Officers at the scene have a message for residents regarding the case.
“We want people to know that there aren’t people riding around the city of Broken Arrow invading homes,” one officer said.
Instead, investigators believe the woman targeted the homeowner because she wanted to retrieve property she thought belonged to her. The homeowner didn’t know the suspect and won't face any charges.
So far, a description of the suspect hasn’t been released.
