A 20-year-old woman is dead following a two-vehicle head-on collision Saturday night in Haskell County.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. just east of Stigler.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the collision started when Miranda Harper changed lanes.
“Vehicle-1 (Harper) was westbound on SH-9 behind a vehicle,” OHP said. “Driver of vehicle-1 changed lanes to pass the vehicle on a hill and met vehicle-2 driving eastbound and struck vehicle-2 head-on.”
Harper was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt.
The two people inside the other vehicle were transported in stable condition. They were both wearing their seat belts.
