Josh Gad goes back in time to reunite the filmmakers and cast of the 80s classic "Back to the Future" for the latest installment of his web series "Reunited Apart."

Not only did Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Fox and Lea Thompson chatted about the film, they were also joined by writer/director Robert Zemeckis and writer Bob Gale.

They were eventually joined by Mary Steenburgen, Elizabeth Shue, singer/songwriter Huey Lewis and composer Alan Silvestri.

A “Back to the Future” superfan J.J. Abrams connected for a quick trivia game with the cast.

Lewis spoke about the hit song “Power of Love” from the “Back to the Future” soundtrack and how he had never written a song for a movie.

Zemeckis also showed off some of the props from the film series that he owns -- the iconic hoverboard from “Back to the Future 2” and the auto-lace shoes from the same film. They also did a table read of some of the scenes.

The ended the interview with a performance of "Power of Love" by the cast of the upcoming "Back to the Future" Broadway show.

Gad is using "Reunited Apart" as a fundraiser. The "Back to the Future" episode will benefit Project HOPE which will provide protective equipment and train healthcare workers in high-risk areas.

Gad's first show reunited the cast of "The Goonies" last month. That episode raised more than $30,000 for The Center for Disaster Philanthropy.
