Oklahoma public school teachers to get $800 for classroom projects from OSDE

TULSA, Okla. — Starting Friday Feb. 4, the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) will fund up to $800 worth of classroom supplies to Oklahoma public school teachers through DonorsChoose.

OSDE said funding will last until they hit $6 million worth of supplies and the funding is only available for one project per classroom teacher.

The application will open on Feb. 4 on the DonorChoose site and Oklahoma public school teachers can use the campaign code OKLAHOMA.

To qualify for funding OSDE said “classroom teachers will need to submit a project on DonorsChoose and include a short description explaining how their requested supplies will impact student learning in the wake of COVID-19.”
