NORMAN, Okla. — Earlier today, members of the OU football team launched the Norman NIL Club (NNC), a player-led fan community that benefits members of the team.
While OU and OSU have NIL collectives like 1Oklahoma and Pokes with a Purpose, this is the first NIL club in the state.
The NNC is a subscription based club that lets fans interact with members of the team through digital content and experiences such as digital meet-and-greets, player-recorded content as well as other opportunities throughout the year.

The club website said a monthly commitment of any amount over five dollars allows fans to join the club and access NNC-exclusive chat rooms, message boards, and content.
It said they hope to lower the minimum amount in the future but it currently has to be five dollars due to payment processing and website-hosting fees.
All current players are invited to participate in the club and proceeds are split equally amongst the actively participating athletes.
