Nissan has issued a recall of more than 203,000 pickup trucks after reports that they may roll away.
The recall involves Nissan Frontier and Titan trucks from 2020 through 2023, The Associated Press reported.
The company said a transmission parking pawl, which stops a vehicle from moving, may not engage when it is in park.
Owners are being told to use the parking brake until the trucks can be repaired.
Nissan will send letters to owners starting on Nov. 1, with a second notification being sent when the repairs are available.
The company is still coming up with a fix, Cars.com reported.
Many of the trucks that are under this latest recall were recalled in June for the same issue, the AP reported.
At that time, more than 180,000 vehicles were recalled, according to Cars.com.
If you have questions, you can call Nissan at 800-867-7669, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit the NHTSA’s website and enter your vehicle identification number, Cars.com reported.
