Tulsa fulfillment center employee arrested for assault with scissors

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department (TPD) arrested a man outside a fulfillment center in east Tulsa after witnesses say he was trying to stab two people with scissors.

Officers responded to a fulfillment center near 61st and 129th E. Ave around 3 p.m. Thursday. There is an Amazon fulfillment center near those cross streets.

After arriving, they placed Gregory McBee into custody and talked to ten witnesses and two victims to learn what happened.

Officers say two employees got into a small car wreck in the parking lot, which lead to a fight.

They said after the wreck, McBee allegedly grabbed scissors from his vehicle and chased one of the victims around the parking lot and back into the building, threatening to kill the victim and trying to stab him multiple times, without success.

They also learned another employee tried to break up the fight but was almost stabbed as well.

McBee was arrested for two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon AFCF (After Former Conviction of a Felony).
