TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department (TPD) arrested a man for stealing and breaking wine bottles at a gas station in midtown Tulsa, according to TPD.
TPD said at around 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 29 they were called to a gas station near E. 11th St. and S. Utica Ave. because a man was throwing wine bottles around the store and assaulting people.
When TPD arrived, the man, later identified as Shane Graham, ran out of the store and surrendered.
Through their investigation, TPD learned that Graham stole multiple wine bottles earlier in the night. TPD was called out to this, but Graham left before they arrived.
Graham later returned to the store and started smashing wine bottles. He also assaulted a delivery truck driver and a store employee. Neither were seriously injured or wanted to be a victim.
TPD said they found a pipe on Graham, and he admitted to smoking methamphetamine.
Graham was arrested for malicious injury to property, public intoxication and petit larceny.
