TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police are searching for the person who broke into a T-Mobile store near 71st St. and Lewis Ave. early Wednesday morning.
The thief was able to pry open the door of a neighboring business. From there, Police said the suspect was able to make a hole in the sheetrock of the neighboring business’s wall, and climb inside the T-Mobile.
Employees at the T-Mobile told FOX23 that the thief only got away with less than $400 worth of stolen merchandise, but the damage to the store was extensive.
Police officers said that a motion alarm did go off Wednesday morning, but it didn’t last long. Officers explained that sometimes these alarms go off at random, and without any evidence of a robbery in progress.
Without damage to an entrance or the T-Mobile store’s window, police said that the robbery could have gone without notice from employees until much later Wednesday morning.
