TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police arrested a man last month and his girlfriend just last weekend on charges they allegedly ran a drug distribution operation on different sides of Tulsa County.
Police arrested John William Edwards and his girlfriend Gabrille Wiley after search warrants at a south Tulsa home and a Skiatook trailer residence revealed numerous illegal drugs were being prepped for sale ranging from prescription medications to illegal street drugs like fentanyl.
According to court documents, Edwards was pulled over for an expired tag on October 6th and a search of his car revealed a bottle holding 58 Aderall pills police state in their arrest report. With the discovery of morphine on the passenger side of the same vehicle, police obtained a search warrant for Edwards’ home in south Tulsa near East 111th Street and South Yale and found large amounts of prescription drugs, cocaine and marijuana ready to be distributed, Oxycodone, a money counting machine, and a safe full of “unexplained wealth”. Tulsa Police state in court documents they found proof that Edwards was also sharing a residence part time with Wiley at her home in Skiatook.
Police searched Wiley’s home south of Skiatook on East 108th Street North that she shares with her small children, court documents state, where they also found large amounts of MDMA, cocaine, Fentanyl, and Adderall pills. Wiley insisted to officer that she was not selling, but Edwards allegedly got her hooked on the drugs he was bringing into her home for safe keeping.
Together police charged each of them with multiple counts in relation to trafficking and selling drugs. Edwards and Wiley each faces aggravated trafficking of illegal drugs, trafficking of illegal drugs (two counts each), unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, acquire proceeds from drug activity, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony (Edwards has a second separate possession of firearm charge in addition to this one), maintain a place for the keeping or selling of drugs, and possession of controlled drugs without a tax stamp. Edwards also faces on his own unlawful use of video surveillance equipment in the commission of a felony and operating a vehicle with an expired/improper tag/decal.
Though Edwards was arrested and bonded out last month, a warrant was only issued for Wiley for allegedly having a hand in her boyfriend’s alleged dealings last week and was carried out last weekend.
The following items were found in Edwards’ and Wiley’s possession according to court documents:
- 1.3 pounds of packaged marijuana
- Large amounts of cocaine ready to be trafficked (in both homes)
- Oxycodone
- Money counting machine
- Safe full of large amounts of unexplained cash
- Two guns at Edwards’ home
- One gun at Wiley’s home
- MDMA
- Adderall (58 pills in initial traffic stop, more found in both homes)
- Morphine
- Multiple M-30 Fentanyl pills
