TULSA, Okla. — A west Tulsa man sprang into action when he tried to stop a package thief in his underwear.
Dalton Toothman and his fiancé caught a woman stealing their package on their home’s security camera on Sunday morning, minutes after a delivery truck dropped off the package.
Toothman, who lives on a dead-end road near Interstate 44 and 33rd West Avenue, said he was asleep when his fiancé woke him up and told him someone stole a package off their front doorstep.
Toothman ran out the front door in his underwear, along with his fiancé, to try to catch the thief on her way back down the road.

“The Amazon guy had dropped the package off just 10 minutes before that, so they must have been following him, I guess,” said Toothman.
Toothman said he tried to stop the car the woman was in, but the car kept going and almost hit his fiancé. He said there was another person driving the car, which was described as a gray sedan or van with a paper tag.
Toothman said the package was only worth about $30, but is annoyed that this happened in his neighborhood. He did file a police report.
