Woman escapes custody after breaking into Tulsa “Jetsons” home

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office has a warrant out for the arrest of a woman who escaped their custody Thursday night.

Deputies issued a warrant for 31-year-old Misty Jordan-Eaglin for burglary. She also already has warrants out in Tulsa County and Sapulpa.

Terry Buckner, who owns the Tulsa home deemed the “Jetsons house”, says his security cameras caught two people at the home two days in a row. He says when they came back Thursday night they began snooping around the house.

When deputies arrived, the owner says the woman was outside in the car but the man had made it into the home and gone up to the fourth floor.

Buckner says the man apparently couldn’t figure out how to get the elevator to go back down. When he got to the home, the elevator was stuck on the fourth floor, the front door was open and all the cabinets had been rummaged through.

The house has been on the market so didn’t have any valuables inside.

Tommy Griffin was arrested as deputies waited at the bottom of the home’s ladder. He was booked into jail at 1 a.m. Friday for burglary and drug possession. He has since bonded out.
