TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE, 12/28/2022, 2:14 p.m. ― 20-year-old, Jayveon Washington has been charged with the shooting and killing of Isaac Walker on Oct. 14. A warrant has been issued for Washington’s arrest.

Tulsa Police are investigating after a man was shot to death at a north Tulsa apartment complex Friday evening.

Around 5:45 p.m., police were called to the Sunset Plaza Apartments near N Detroit and E Independence to investigate reports of a shooting.

Police confirmed to FOX23 that officers found a man in his early 20s dead in the doorway of one of the apartment units. It’s unclear if the victim lived at this apartment.

Police said multiple juveniles witnessed the shooting, and they are currently at the Tulsa Police station being interviewed.

No details on the suspect at this time.
