BRISTOW, Okla. — UPDATE (12/22; 8:22 p.m.) — A spokesperson from the FBI confirmed a suspect is in custody.
Chad Hudgins was arrested in Kansas Wednesday in connection with this weekend’s homicide in Creek County.
UPDATE (12/22; 4:26 p.m.) — The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has confirmed to FOX23 that they have arrested a suspect in connection with the homicide in Creek County Sunday, Dec. 19.
The suspect was arrested in Kansas. The FBI will not release the suspect’s name at this time.

The FBI and Muscogee (Creek) Nation Lighthorse Tribal Police are investigating a homicide in Creek County, authorities said.
Authorities responded to a home on West 191st Street South, just north of Bristow on Saturday afternoon.
Law enforcement said the victim is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation.
No arrests have been made.
Authorities said the homicide is believed to be an isolated incident and there’s no threat to the public.
