TULSA, Okla. — South Jackson Avenue has closed this week from West 22nd Street and West 23rd Street for sanitary sewer construction for the River West housing development, according to a statement from the City of Tulsa.
The road closure will remain in effect until Dec. 20, 2021.
Through the Improve Our Tulsa sales tax, the City of Tulsa is constructing infrastructure — waterlines, storm sewer and roadways — to support the River West new housing development.
Funding from this also comes from the Tulsa Housing Authority’s Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Choice Neighborhood Grant in 2018.
