OKMULGEE, Okla. — The Okmulgee Fire Department is on the scene of a building fire at Hotel Sparks in downtown Okmulgee.
The building, near North Comanche and East 6th Street, was fully engulfed when firefighters got to the scene. They got the call around 10:30 this morning.
Captain Mike Rice said the building was not occupied. It’s unknown whether any people were inside at the time.
Crews are still working to put out the fire.
The extent of damage is not yet know.
