8,000 calorie breakfast challenge defeats all comers

The massive meal contains a four egg omelet, four hash browns, four pieces of toast, fried bread, beans, tomatoes, waffles, and enough meat to fill several diners.

However, this 8,000 breakfast is meant to be eaten by one person.

"If anyone completes it they'll have to sleep for a year," Mark Winder told The Daily Mail. Winder owns the Bear Grills cafe in Congleton, England.

The meal was created to bring in a younger crowd, and Winder says it’s worked.

But why would anyone want to eat all of that food?

If you down all seven pounds of the meal, you win $162.00 and the honor of adding an ingredient to the stack.

20 brave, hungry souls have taken a swipe at the breakfast behemoth. None have finished it.

“With these ingredients, you could feed a family for a week,” Winder chuckled.

Grub Street reports there is even a smaller version of the challenge in case a child wants to give it a whirl.
