An alleged Bixby sexual predator has been arrested in California.

Eckhard “Ed” Gasnik was taken into custody Sunday morning by members of the US Marshals Pacific Northwest Fugitive Apprehension Task Force.

A search warrant of Gasnik’s home was conducted August 4.  Police had intentions of arresting him then but were told by his wife, Mary Gasnik, that she had dropped him off at Tulsa International Airport and he had boarded a plane for Seattle, Washington.

Four days later, on August 8, police arrested Mary Gasnik on complaints that included permitting child sexual abuse.

She bonded out a few hours later.  On August 13, a 6 count felony warrant was issued by Tulsa District Attorney Tim Harris.

Ed Gasnik was charged with 5 counts of child sexual abuse and 1 count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

US Marshalls from the Northern District of Oklahoma contacted their colleagues in Seattle, and Gasnik was arrested around 11 Sunday morning at a home in Ocean Park, Washington.
