TULSA — Tulsa State Senator Regina Goodwin found herself in handcuffs after a traffic stop downtown earlier this month.

Deputy Freddie Alaniz pulled Goodwin over January 11th, and ended up citing Goodwin for failure to stop at a stop sign, but only after he detained her in his vehicle because she refused to produce her driver’s license.

The video captured by his bodycam is posted below.

The fine for failing to stop at a stop sign in Tulsa is $185.

KRMG reached out to Goodwin for comment, she said “the issue will be handled in court.”
