Vinita McDonalds back open after threat, no suspect arrested

Vinita, Okla. — A bomb threat at a restaurant on the Will Rogers Turnpike turns out to be a hoax.

The McDonalds near Vinita, Oklahoma, was closed Sunday afternoon for about two hours while Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers searched the restaurant.

Traffic was halted in both directions on the turnpike during the search, but no explosive devices were found.

We're told investigators made an arrest, but later determined that the person was not a suspect.
