Broken Arrow, Okla. — A New Year's Eve fire is fatal in Broken Arrow near 193rd East Avenue and  East 101 Street.

A 55-year-old woman was the victim.

Broken Arrow Fire Marshal Stan Spradlin said, “She was the only one there at the time of the fire. The other residents had went to another location for New Year’s Eve.”

Spradlin tells us at least four pets died in the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
