BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — A Broken Arrow School bus was involved in a crash near 101st Street and 193rd East Avenue.

Police said the driver was eastbound on 101st at County Line Road when he crashed in a construction zone.

The driver told officers the sun was in his eyes when he struck a barrel and then a construction truck .

There were no students on the bus at the time of the wreck.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

The investigating officer said the bus also hit an excavator.
