A new ad campaign says many people have the wrong idea about Republicans.

It's the brainchild of GOP political strategist Vinny Minchillo, who worked on Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.

It has peppy music and a series of message like Republicans recycle, and Republicans listen to Spotify, and Republicans put together IKEA furniture.

Also that Republicans are Black and Asian and Hispanic.

He says he wanted to show that stereotypes of Republicans are inaccurate and that there's a vast range of everyday Republicans out there.
