BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Union Pacific will temporarily close eight railroad crossings in Broken Arrow for repairs.

Crews will work on one road per day. Work is expected to begin at 6:30 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. Here’s the schedule:

  • Aug. 11 - Oneta Road (65th Street/South 241st East Avenue)
  • Aug. 12 - Evans Road (51st Street/South 225th East Avenue)
  • Aug. 13 - County Line Road (23rd Street/South 193rd East Avenue)
  • Aug. 14 - South Elm Place (South 161st East Avenue)
  • Aug. 15 - South 219th E. Ave.
  • Aug. 16 - South Main Street
  • Aug. 17 - West Dallas Street and South Cedar Avenue intersection
  • Aug. 24 - Lynn Lane Road (9th Street/South 177th E. Avenue)

This will be the first phase. When the initial project is completed, crews will return in several weeks to lay asphalt and complete the project.
