Customer finds drugs inside fast-food order, Skiatook police arrest employee

SKIATOOK, Okla. — UPDATE, 6/21/22: Investigators with the Skiatook Police Department have released the police report from Francis’ arrest, revealing more details from the case.

Officers responded to a Carl’s Jr. on W. Rogers Boulevard after a man reported the drugs in his meal. The man was on a video call with his girlfriend when he sat down to eat. He believed it was methamphetamine, but wasn’t sure because he had never done drugs before.

The man reported the drugs to the manager, who gave him fresh food. He then took the pictures to the police department.

Officers were sent to the restaurant to confiscate the drugs.

The drugs, which weighed out at 4.3 grams, field tested positive for methamphetamine.


A man is in custody after Skiatook police said he distributed methamphetamine through a drive-thru window at a fast food restaurant.

A customer made an order at the restaurant and noticed a baggie filled with a crystal-like substance when they received the food.

The substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine.

Officers spoke with employees at the restaurant and took Bryce Francis into custody. He faces charges of distribution of a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school and possession of a controlled substance.
