Broken Arrow police said a driver was arrested after a crash left two people dead.

The wreck happened around 9:30pm Tuesday near 61st and Lynn Lane.

According to police, 33-year-old Patrick Ferm was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck and collided with a Ford Escape in the intersection. A third car was also hit in the collision.

Police said the two people in the Escape, 75-year-old Marji Cowles and 80-year-old Gloria Voss, both died as a result of the wreck.

The person in the third car was not hurt.

Police said Ferm was arrested with charges pending.
