The weekly drought monitor shows a sharp increase in drought conditions across Oklahoma.
68-percent of the state is now in the lowest category of drought or D0.
Last week, it was only 26-percent.
D1, or moderate drought, is up from roughly 5-percent to nearly 8-percent.
Kay County, the driest part of Oklahoma, has a pocket of D2, or severe drought.
Most of Tulsa County, 90-percent, is in the clear with no drought, except for the western arm of the county that has some D0 level drought.
