Cops were summoned to a New Jersey Holiday Inn to help a sick child, and left with 1,000 bags of heroin.

New York Daily News reports police were rendering medical assistance to the youngster, when the officers spotted packets of heroin in the motel room.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested.  Her name was not released.

She was arrested on numerous drug complaints, as well as endangering the welfare of a child.

The woman had reportedly rented the room.  Her relationship with the ailing child wasn't immediately clear.

The woman is being held on $232,000 bail.
