Former high school choir director jailed on sodomy, sexual battery charges

Tulsa police have arrested a former Tulsa high school music teacher on five complaints of forcible sodomy and sexual battery.

Arrest documents indicate the victims went to Edison High School at the time of the alleged crimes.

Bradley Hart Morris, 44, taught there at the time.

Tulsa Public Schools says Morris worked at the school from 2000 to 2011, when he resigned.

Police say he had oral sex with an 18-year-old student during a period beginning in August 2010 and ending June 3, 2011, and that he "kissed, groped and fondled" another student, this one 16 years old, between January and June of 2011.

The District will only say he resigned over a "personnel matter."

Morris remains jailed on bonds totaling $250,000 as of Wednesday afternoon.
