Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa broadcasting veteran Bob Losure has died.

Losure got his start on the school paper at Edison High School when he was 15.

He told the story to Fayetteville Public Access TV in 2000.

He started at KTOW in Sand Springs, but soon became “Bob in the Traffic” on KRMG.

Losure went on to work for Channel 6 before spending more than a decade at CNN Headline News.

Plans for funeral services have not been made public.
