TULSA — There may be a way for you to feel a little extra merry and bright at this year’s Tulsa Christmas Parade.
GRAND Mental Health will have a booth set up for people who need services.
Chief Clinical Officer Kimberly Hill-Crowell says the holidays are a stressful time of year.
“There’s heightened stress,” says Hill-Crowell. “There’s heightened expectations. You’re facing those family dynamics that you’ve been avoiding all year long. And, so you’re becoming triggered. You can become overstimulated.
This year GRAND Mental Health is offering free mental health support services to all attendees at the parade.
Licensed therapists will be available for walk-up mental health screenings and private consultations from 10 to 3 tomorrow at the Wellness Station in the Gift Market near 7th & Main.
