Gas prices slip by pennies after 20-cent hike last week

Gas prices are vacillating, depending upon which market you are considering.

The average price of gasoline is up 7-cents over the past two weeks.

The Lundberg Survey says it's now $1.84 a gallon.

But industry analyst Trilby Lundberg says despite the increase, the price is 70 cents per gallon cheaper than a year ago.

In Tulsa, gas prices increased by 20-cents last week, but are down a few pennies on Monday.

Most Quiktrips and Phillips stations were up to $1.69 last week.

Lundberg says the moderate price hike is due to growing demand for gasoline across the nation and higher crude oil prices.
