Owasso, Okla. — Owasso pediatric and adolescent medicine is warning about a nationwide flu test shortage. Dr. Brian McDowell doesn’t prescribe Tamiflu to children because of side effects. Owasso Drug has several boxes of generic Tamiflu. Med Express is prescribing Tamiflu if you exhibit flu symptoms because they are running out of tests. Some Owasso physicians  were averaging 80 calls per day at the beginning of the month. Calls are up to 130 per day now.
