We've learned a former Mid-Del school teacher has been accused of sending inappropriate messages to a juvenile girl.

Del City police tell FOX25 News out of OKC, the victim told her parents about the messages.  Her parents then notified DCPD about Christian Ridner.

The messages were said to have been sent through social media.  No word on if Ridner knew the victim or met her online.

Police haven't released the age of the girl.

Ridner faces a count of engaging in sexual communication with a minor.  He has posted bail.
