If you're driving 21st between Harvard and Yale, you might notice a change.
A world record-breaking change actually.
The Tulsa icon is donning a kilt for the Oklahoma Scottish Festival, and Steve Campbell tells KRMG the kilt took two weeks to construct.
Blackwatch tartan (plaid to most people) was chosen for the kilt, the same pattern worn by the Royal Scottish Regiment.
Breaking a world record wasn't the only goal behind the kilt; users were allowed to vote on which fabric they wanted on the Driller.
Paying a dollar for each vote, 100% of the proceeds raised went to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Help for Heroes charity.
Should you choose to stop and marvel at the kilt and realize your life is sorely lacking some Scottish flare, you're in luck this weekend.
The festival runs the 16th through the 18th at the River West Festival Park.
You'll find professional athletes, Scottish music and dancing, and whiskey tasting.
