OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt announced during a news conference from the Capitol Wednesday that salons can open this Friday.
Gov. Stitt still urges everyone to practice social distancing when possible.
Restaurants, movie theaters and gyms can reopen May 1 if they follow the CDC-recommended social distancing and sanitation protocols.
Churches can open May 1 too, but they have to leave every other row open to help with social distancing.
Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum said, “I appreciate Governor Stitt announcing his plan for Oklahoma today. I am working with both the Tulsa Health Department and the State Department of Health to assess the latest trend data that would indicate when we can safely begin such a process in Tulsa.”
