Tulsa, Okla. — A Tulsa County jail inmate is captured near 51st and Peoria after escaping from the jail downtown early Sunday. We're told witnesses called police after seeing Michael Payne hiding in a back yard while wearing hand cuffs. Payne was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained before he was arrested. Payne had been in jail on warrants.
