Officers think they're going to make a drug bust Friday afternoon, but also find evidence of chicken fighting.
Tulsa police say they went to the home near 36th and 145th East Avenue to serve a warrant for drugs. Chee Xiong did have a marijuana plant, marijuana, packaging materials and firearms inside his home.
Officers didn't know about a different crime going on out in the garage.
Police say they found alive and dead chickens, a fighting pit, and spattered blood. Xiong confessed to officers he staged chicken fights inside his garage.
The suspect was then handcuffed and taken to the Tulsa County Jail. He faces multiple counts including animal cruelty and cultivation of marijuana.
