Man arrested in attempted kidnapping of 11-year-old girl at Catoosa Walmart

CATOOSA, Okla. — Catoosa Police arrested a man, 44-year-old Theodore Insogna, who they say is facing charges following an attempted kidnapping

Police say it happened at a Walmart in Catoosa back on August 5th.

Police say a mother and her 11-year-old daughter were inside the store. The mother noticed a man following them in the store. At one point, police say the girl went to go grab something while the mother was checking out.

They say Insogna approached the girl and said she had a “pretty face.” Police say Insogna told her, “I have something to show you, come out to my car.”

Officers say the girl was able to run away and tell her mom. Police say surveillance video captured images of the man as well as the car parked in the parking lot.

Catoosa police served the warrant Wednesday and arrested Insgona who is now at the Rogers County Jail.
