'Our beer needs a forever home’: McNellie’s Group is looking to get rid of beer

TULSA, Okla. — The CEO of the Mcnellies Group, Elliot Nelson says although his restaurants will not open completely on May 1st, he will be allowing restaurant General Managers to open up for outside patio dining by reservation only next week if they feel they can handle it safely.

Nelson made the announcement in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

In the post Nelson says he will consider opening up dining rooms by late May, early June.

Nelson goes on to say he thinks it would be best to “ease back into serving guests in person outside first.”

He believes bringing people into dining rooms is irresponsible right now.

By limiting crowds and keeping people outside, he thinks they can get comfortable serving again and see where the data goes from there.

The McNellies Group has restaurants in Tulsa, OKC and Arkansas
