SAPULPA, Okla. — Flock cameras helped authorities track down a Green Country woman suspected in the death of her newborn son.
Sapulpa police say the flock hit came in Sunday afternoon at 1:15 and said that Kala Matney was at the intersection of Main and Lines Avenue.
Investigators say Matney’s baby died a day after he was born in November of 2022 after Matney admitted to using meth the day before and throughout the entire pregnancy.
The medical examiner determined that the cause of death was prenatal methamphetamine exposure.
Arrest records show that eight other children have been removed from her home in Sapulpa due to drug use.
She was arrested for murder.
