A Muskogee teenager is arrested late Friday night on a complaint of first-degree murder.

Muskogee police were originally looking at 18-year-old John Cone as a person of interest in the shooting death of 26-year-old Skylar Brewer.  MPD tells KRMG they later arrested the teen for the murder.

The shooting happened on Thursday near 21st Street and Broadway Avenue around 9 p.m., hours after a fight.  Police say Cone shot Brewer at least once.

Cone is currently in the Muskogee County Jail without bond.
