Muskogee VA Benefits Office to reopen

Good news for veterans. The Muskogee VA Regional Benefits Office is reopening for business.

With major renovations now complete, in-person operations resume at its 125 S. Main Street facility in downtown Muskogee on April 3.

The renovated facility includes a spacious interview area for visitors to discuss their VA benefits with an in-person counselor.

With more than 1,500 full-time employees, the Muskogee VA Regional Benefits Office is the largest of VA’s 57 benefits offices and is responsible for about $10 billion in annual benefits for Veterans and survivors.

The amount includes more than $2.6 billion specifically for those living in the state of Oklahoma.

VA Regional Benefits Offices provide financial and other forms of assistance to Veterans and their dependents.

This includes disability compensation, survivor’s benefits, pension and fiduciary service, education and training, vocational rehabilitation and employment assistance, life insurance coverage, and home loans guaranties.
