Tulsa — Green Country residents are hunkering down and hopeful that we don’t get too much snow later this week.
FOX23 and KRMG Chief Meteorologist James Aydelott says the newest models coming in are drier and have lower snow totals.
The subfreezing temperatures Tuesday arrived ahead of a threat for snow inn parts of Texas and Oklahoma.
Last weekend’s heavier snowfall was north of Tulsa, as this system is expected to be heavier to our south.
Meteorologist Craig Sullivan with the National Weather Service here in Tulsa says, “Right now, we’re still calling for an inch of accumulation, maybe up to two.”
Road crews in the Kansas City area, which has received about 11 inches of snow in recent days, have struggled to keep up with clearing the area’s streets and highways.
