An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper has minor injuries after crashing on Saturday during a high-speed pursuit.
Trooper Dwight Durant reports the chase happened on Highway 75. The suspect was driving around 100 mph at the time of the wreck.
“Both the Charger and the patrol car were in the left hand lane,” Durant said. “At the last minute, the Charge took the exit at 81st Street, northbound 75. The trooper attempted to take the exit and we ended up right here where we’re at, where the trooper is wrecked out.”
The suspect is still on the loose. Investigators are looking for a black Dodge Charger with a paper tag.
Anyone with information regarding the driver is asked to call the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troop B.
