Okmulgee, Okla. — An Okmulgee County Jail employee is behind bars. Police said an investigator posed as an underage internet user in mid-March and an adult man reportedly initiated a conversation with the detective using several social media accounts. The suspect reportedly told the undercover detective that he thought he was communicating with a pre-teen and expressed sexual interest in who he thought was an underage girl. Detectives identified the suspect as 28-year old Joshua Caudle. Police believed he may have been employed by the Okmulgee County Jail. Detectives tracked Caudle from the jail and to a meeting location established by the undercover officer. They said he was wearing his jail uniform and body armor and was armed with a handgun when police arrested him. Caudle faces charges related to electronically soliciting a minor for sex and possession of a firearm and body armor during the commission of a felony.
