Personal jetpack flies to 7,000 feet and 50 MPH

It looks like 2014 will be the year we finally get to travel by jetpack.
George Jetson would be proud.
A company in New Zealand plans to begin selling the packs with at least ten being ordered by American citizens already.
The coolest mode of transportation ever will allow you to fly up to 7,000 feet and tool along at 50mph.
The twin-duct fan engine runs on good old gas and can stay in the air for about 30 minutes.
But the biggest number of all is the price tag, $150,000.
The biggest drawback of the jetpacks so far comes from how to categorize them.
Government officials are deciding if the “pilots” need special licenses to operate the thing and where it can and cannot fly.
The FAA says here in America they are leaning toward not requiring a license and instead listing the packs as ultra light crafts.
Its expected sales will begin in about ten months but don’t look to the skies for dozens of people flying to work.
The CEO Martin Aircraft says "are we going to see people commuting to work in a jetpack? No, we are not."
Bummer.
